Greater Hands Foundation (GHF) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit, faith-based, charitable and independent organization. GHF was registered in 2007 with the Cross River State Ministry of Youth Development and Orientation, with subsequent renewals with Cross River Department of Civil Society and NGOs (Dept. of CSO/NGOs).

GHF is committed to building lives and giving hope through health and in full regard to the three dimensions of sustainable development (economic, social, and environmental). Basing on the significance and influence of specialized knowledge, GHF staff includes experts in health, education, nutrition, environment, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, Research and monitoring and Evaluation. 

The organization aims at reducing the sexual and reproductive health risks that affect young mothers and First Time Parents (FTPs) in Cross River State, gender-based violence and building the capacity of the local communities to increase people’s abilities to define, analyze, and act on important health concerns.
